As an annual academic English playground organized by VAschools across the system, “VA English Challenge” provides opportunities for students to develop their confidence, and improve their English and necessary social skills.
With the theme of developing a start-up business project, “VA English Challenge 2022” for upper secondary school students is a chance for VAers to learn more about the field of Economics – Finance, thereby obtaining more practical and useful knowledge to have the right orientations and get ready to successfully conquer the career path in the future.
Through this year’s novel contest theme, VAschools wishes to find many new students who are gifted in the field of business and know how to express game-changing ideas through potential projects.
1. VASCHOOLS CAMPUS ROUND
Time: From March 15 to April 15, 2022
Competition form: Write a plan for a business project in groups of 4 to 6 students.
Content: The groups select start-up business projects and discuss with the members the plan to build and develop the business model in the first 1 – 2 years of operation.
DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF PROJECT PLANS: Before March 30, 2022
RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT: April 15, 2022
2. VASCHOOLS SYSTEM ROUND
Time: From April 15 to May 7, 2022
Competition form: Recording presentation videos in English on the business project in groups of 4-6 students.
Content: The entry video must consist of 2 parts:
– Part 1: Introduction to the school, class, and members of the contest group (3-5 minutes).
– Part 2: Group presentation of the business project in English (5-7 minutes).
DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF VIDEOS: April 27, 2022
CLOSING AND RESULT ANNOUNCEMENT: May 7, 2022
