VASCHOOLS KINDERGARTEN DISTRICT 4

ESTABLISHED: VIETNAMESE AMERICAN KINDERGARTEN DISTRICT 4 OPENED ITS FIRST SCHOOL YEAR IN MARCH 2013.

SCALE OF OPERATION:

In the early days of its establishment, Vietnamese American Kindergarten District 4 had 5 classrooms with more than 10 students. By the beginning of September 2013, the number of students had reached 60. In September 2015, the number of students reached 150. Through years of effort and parental trust, by March 2019, the stable student population was 170, maintaining a maximum of 25 students per class for Kindergarten and 20 for Nursery.

The school boasts 9 fully-equipped classrooms and multipurpose rooms such as a health room, music room, and library. It also has a standard one-way kitchen to ensure food safety. The spacious playground with greenery caters to the daily needs of the students. A diverse range of outdoor toys creates conditions for children to freely engage in physical activities.

The teaching and non-teaching staff of 40+ members, carefully selected with over 3 years of experience in early childhood education, ensures stability and quality education. All teachers have high professional qualifications, reaching 90% above the standard, especially in-depth experience in each age group.

With the goal of training students to become “Excellent at Vietnamese, Proficient at English, and Rich in Life Skills”, the administrators together with the teachers and staff of the school always try their best to take care and teach the children according to the best educational methods. Vietnamese American Kindergarten District 4 is committed to aiding the comprehensive and harmonious development of children in various areas, in physical, cognitive, language, emotional, social, and aesthetic terms, throughout each academic year. Students at the highest level of Kindergarten are thoroughly prepared with positive attitudes and readiness skills to enter Primary School, becoming well-rounded citizens.
