VIETNAMESE AMERICAN KINDERGARTEN GO VAP DISTRICT

Establishment: Vietnamese American Kindergarten Go Vap District – Campus 2 was established in 2013.

Scale of operation:

The school has a total number of 175 students in 10 classroom groups.

The staff consists of 22 teachers specializing in early childhood education and 15 experienced staff members who are always enthusiastic and passionate about children. Teachers regularly exchange and share the development of the children with parents. Every week, a report book is sent to help parents understand the progress of their children and collaborate with the school in educating and nurturing the little ones.

The schoolyard is spacious and airy with many toys appropriately arranged for children’s outdoor learning and playing activities.

The classrooms have good lighting as well as ingenious and colorful decorations. This brings the children a joyful and friendly learning environment. The size of tables and chairs is suitable for each age to avoid spinal issues and refractive errors. The activity rooms, restrooms, and the kitchen are always kept clean and well-organized.

In addition, to enhance safety, the school installed an online camera system in classrooms, at the school gates, and on the playground for real-time monitoring by the administration and parents.

The curriculum focuses on building a foundation for strong physical and mental development, instilling essential values, skills, and character traits for family and community, and preparing them for Primary School.
